I made a video about a different way to learn Spanish πŸ‘€

Hey Reader πŸ‘‹πŸΎ

Over the past couple of weeks, we uploaded many of the 12-Logro Method materials in the BTG Spanish Community. You'll also notice that your conversation teachers are talking more about the Community and may even give you homework to do there as well.

So, to help you get the most out of your learning experience, I'd love to walk through the BTG Spanish Community with you 1-on-1.

And, as always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Just reply directly to this email.

We've reached the top.

For weeks, we've worked through aspects of the BTG Spanish Method, focusing on highlights from various Logros β€” the Spanish vowels, the Super 7 verbs, por vs. para, seeking out conversations instead of avoiding them.

Today we've arrived at Logro 12 β€” the final one. And it's the perfect place to talk about why this method works.

But before we get there, let me remind you of the BTG promise: we teach what will help you communicate as fast as possible.

That sounds obvious, but it isn't. Because it's the opposite of how most Spanish learning works.

Most programs hand you concepts built upon each other to make it easy on the teacher, not the learner. This all accumulates into the typical "this is just how EVERYONE teaches Spanish." Grammar rules here. A vocabulary list there. Colors and numbers and the names of farm animals β€” none of it connected, none of it leaving you with anything you can actually use in real life. You end up knowing a lot about Spanish while still being unable to speak it.

And to be honest, we used to teach this way, too. That is, until we started looking at you as the learner and teaching for you, not to you. Now, we do it differently. We teach you to walk so you can run.

Every Logro is deliberately sequenced. Each one gives you the highest-leverage piece you need next for deeper and better communicationβ€” the grammar and vocabulary that unlock real communication right away, then build on each other.

Logro 1 teaches you to introduce yourself. By Logro 6, you are telling stories about your past. By Logro 9, you are seeking out conversations instead of dodging them.

And now, at Logro 12, you're running.

This is where you're discussing complex topics with confidence β€” opinions, hypotheticals, the nuanced conversations that once felt impossible.

I made a video about this different way of learning Spanish.
