Don't pay for the premium version of SpanishDict!!

Hey Reader πŸ‘‹πŸΎ

Last month, we sent you a 12-Logro progress report based on the evaluations that your conversation teachers submitted. We hope that you took a moment to be grateful for how far you've come. Now that you know what your next step is, you can continue blazing forward. Keep up the good work!

And if you want to walk through your progress report together, I'd love to help you do that.

Hey Reader!

Today I'm doing something that I haven't done in a long time.

I'm sharing one of my favorite Spanish resources. To be honest, there are so many resources out there that it can kinda feel overwhelming to figure out which combination of tools are truly useful to you.

I've found that no matter how long it's been since I've interacted with SpanishDict (also known as Spanishdictionary.com), I always seem to come back to it. And to me, that's a great sign that it's an essential piece in my Spanish toolbox.

You may not know this about SpanishDict, but it's more than a Spanish dictionary, which is honestly why I love it so much. But, before I tell you about all of it's wonderful features, I do have a warning for you...

DON'T UPGRADE TO PREMIUM!!!

That is...until you've checked out all of that is available in the free version, because I think you'll find that it's plenty and there's no need to upgrade until you've maxed out what they have available for free.

Here are some of the FREE practice materials you may be missing out on if you don't have this app on your phone:

  • Word of the day -- I definitely don't memorize every word of the day, but it's one SUPER easy, low lift way that I can make sure that Spanish is in my life everyday.
  • Conjugation drills -- This feature is what officially sold me on SpanishDict. Select the verb tenses you want practice on and boom! SpanishDict gives you fill-in-the-blank sentences with the verb to conjugate AND makes you type it out to make sure you're right. But, that's not even the coolest thing. You can hover over the sentence to see what it translates as. This means that you not only get to see the verb in context, but you also get exposed to new vocabulary while you're at it. It's truly a win-win! I've included a screenshot to show you just how cool this is.
  • Grammar and pronunciation guides -- SpanishDict held nothing back when they put their guides together. Any grammar or pronunciation question you have can be answered in one of their many guides. In fact, I will be providing references to many of their guides in our new BTG Spanish grammar curriculum that goes along with our 12-Logro Method. To give you an idea, here's their grammar guide on stem-changing verbs. Do you see what I mean?? Super thorough and well worth the read 🀩

Why am I sharing this? Well, because the more you surround yourself with Spanish, the more likely you are to interact with it on a daily basis. No, you may not be ready to change your phone settings to Spanish, but you can download an app that sends you the word of the day.

Here are the links to the app:
